Skipped school for the first time in this semester, just for my BA interview. It was held at Holiday Inn, near town area, and mummy drove me there cause i dont know the location. My interview was at 11am, and it lasted for arnd 30minutes. BA's interview is so different from SIA and JAL, because language is very important for them.
I was ushered into a room directly opposite Clemenceau 1. My interviewer was a very nice young man with a warm ready smile and the interview was conducted in English (surprise surprise! since i read on the forum that the intros are usually done in Mandarin). He was very nice and professional.
My reading passages were on Queen Victoria's reign (Eng) and the economic ties between Sri Lanka and Singapore (chi). The translation part was difficult cos the interviewer read very fast and there were lots of info to catch. I was scribbling like crazy. He did read out the passage twice though. It was a typical landing announcement.
The cabin crews are super polite and the interviewer is rather friendly. He will try to break the ice by asking you is this the first time u apply, what other airlines have you apply and what is the difference between the other airlines and BA.
Overall, im not confident in getting into the 2nd round of interview as i screwed up my english passage, and i swear that this is one of the toughest passage i have even read. However, this is a great experience for me and I am not sad or disappointed or have any regrets cause BA is really up to standard.
