Cant wait for July's leave as i will be flying over to Belgium to meet my brother and we will bagpack to Paris and London for their summer sales. Yes, SUMMER SALE! Am starting to save now so that i can buy back all the stuffs i always wanted to buy.

Prada: always love their classic design would love to buy one of their hot red wallet. Their new collections are so lovely and sweet. Would love to buy one as my make-up bag if the price is reasonable there.

Now, i need to check on the flight slot and decide which airline to purchase. But most likely, i will book BA. If cant book business class, then will change to CX. Die die must take business class.

5 more days and it marks my first flying month. i love my job as i can meet and work with different passenger/ crew. Feb's roster is good, working for 3/4 month and conversion training for 1/4 month (back to hk with my batch for the boeing training. I miss IND30/10 so much!





Although all of us comes from different background but all of us share the same dream and aim. We share, laugh, study, countdown, drink, party, gossip, jump down e slideraft, etc together. In fact, i was pretty surprised that all of us can mix well together because working in a 95%-woman environment, it is quite different not to get zap or slap.

Till now, it still excites me whenever im preparing for my flight, minus the ISM breifing meeting. I will look forward to seeing my passengers, meeting to their needs and i want them to leave the aircraft with a smile on their face. I dont need them to remember my name, i just want them to spread the words that Cathay is a premium airline and it lives up to its standard.

Flight attendants might potrays a glamorous image to others. I used to envy those flight attendants for their good pay, free tickets, able to see the world and meet with different people. But after being one, i realized that this job is more than just serving cocktails, meals. From training school, i have learnt that service language is very important as we need to be firm in a nice manner. So far, my pax are not tough to handle, maybe a few are alittle more demanding *cross fingers*

20Dec - My OJL flight. im going to apply whatever i have learnt and i have not learnt. I'm so looking forward to it. Hopefully, i will be invited into the jumpseat!

Counting down:
2 more days to my final assessment. Will be attending a birthday celebration with my lovely batchmates. Will be going partying on that night too as i have no flight the next day.

3 more days to adeline's departure to Hongkong. Hopefully i can be a good host for that day!

4 more days to my brother's birthday! will be getting his birthday present in the Airport! Will be doing my xmas countdown in hongkong with friends. i pray hard for a hardcore countdown~! Ooops!

5 more days to Xmas. Will be my first offical flight and it will be flying to Korea. Flying sexcited and stressful at the same time cause i can predict that it will be a busy day. No xmas for me this year :(

6 more days to going back to Singapore. Time flies and im in hongkong for more than 1.5 months. Actually im quite used to living in hongkong although i miss my family and friends. Hongkong is going to be my second home from what it reflects on my Jan's roster. No regrets to getting into this fresh industry to me as i feel that i have learnt alot from this 1.5 months. The whole process makes me grow into a more mature person and i have definitely display my independency. i do admit that i weep like a baby when i miss home, but as the training gets my intense, i dont even have the time to weep. Sleeping at 11 plus and waking up at 7am seems to be my practice, which surprise me too. Asahi has promoted and becomes my best drink when im stress. No complaints on the intensive training as i have chosen this path myself.

I think i have fallen in love with this airline job as i have never been so serious in a job/school project. I have placed in my 110% effort and i hope that my enthusiasm towards my job will not fade. YCL intensive training is coming to the end soon. I will definitely miss every single person in induction 30/10. The whole team will meet again in Mar and spend a week together for the conversion training, i cant wait for that either!

Hello from HongKong. reached HK on the 9th Nov, and started training on the next day. It is going to be a very tough 6 weeks as there are intensive training and exams ahead. I salute all the current cabin crew because all of them had undergo all these training. its super tough and the material given to study can filled up my whole bed. Speaking of bed, i wan to mention about the hotel which im currently staying at. It is very pretty and well-equipped, with mirrors at almost every corner of the room. Moon, my room-mate, is very neat and tidy. So she always help to clear my messy items!

First day.
Shopping with batch mates for tml's morning. I bought cup-noodles, bread and 4 bottles of juices.


Second day- Uniform fitting and beginning of training.
They all said that i look pretty in the uniform because im fair and tall. In fact, the best thing i like about Cathay Pacific other than their culture is their uniform. But no pink eye shade when wearing their uniform.


training is gonna be tough and fun. Sin base + HK base.
meeting the HK base for lunch later, before going for make-up class! :)



3rd day. Make up lesson.
it is consider as the best day throughout the whole 6 weeks.3 hours of training and lesson is held at some shopping paradise area.

weather here is cool and dry, need to do mask everyday.

28Oct10 marks my last day in Hewlett Packard. A mixture of feeling because i love to work in HP and i like all the friends there, but i have to give up my comfy zone to pursue for my dream. I hold back my tears, and i nearly forgotten when is the last time i cried.

Farewell lunch at Thai express. I have expressed my gratitude by treating them drinks and bought so nice chocolates for them.

HP is my second job since i graduated from RP, previous job was with Tyco. I'm a lucky girl cause i meet with friendly and nice friends in my job and they really took good care of me and taught me alot.

Currently I'm taking my 13 days before flying over to HK for my 6weeks training. There are so many things i will miss when im away, esp my love ones bffs and friends. I hope i'll be missed too.

Things to do after i return: book my TP date! i want to drive legally!

September – dinner with friends, long-lunch with colleagues, chatting with sabby over her counter for 3 hours, meet up with bastard queens, etc….

I have tendered on 29 September and my last day will be on the 28 October. I will miss all HP friends badly. I will miss shopping for masks, bras, hydro boast gel, dessert, ice cream, chocolate… , with them.

Sabby taught me how to have the cabin crew's make-up standard.
Many said i look better with make-up but i still feel more clean being make-up-less.

I end my September by partying with Sab and one of my primary school classmate.

Anyway 3 more weeks to my last day in HP, 5 more weeks before heading to HK for training. Just managed to complete 1/2 of the training book, kill me please.
Havent pick up my 12 different languages. kill me again please.

I MUST COMPLETE THE TRAINING BOOK BY OCT.
I MUST BOOK FOR JAN 11 DRIVING TEST. (i want to drive to go gai-gai, to find my friends for lunch. my mum always say that, we will 3 car keys at home, but u have no license. FML)

It seems that i have stopped blogging for 3 months. No worries, im still enjoying my life and doing perfectly well. I still love my family and all my close friends.

July, the month which i love most, and is the busiest and most memorable month i ever had.
I went for a 3D2N BKK shopping spree, with family. Went for CX first-round of interview. Celebrated my 21st birthday together with my grandmum's 70th birthday. Had a fun and enjoyable 7D6N HK trip with my bastard queens. On the day i return back Singapore, went for my second-round of CX interview.

Same 5-star hotel- Prince Palace.

My brother surrender this time round. He said that he will not return to bkk if im going there for another round of shopping spree.




I bought back 55kg of stuffs.
From accessories, tops, skirt, hair bands, etc.....




My 21st + Grandmum's 70th = Double happiness.

Seriously, nothing can beat celebrating our big day with our love ones. People who knows me well, should know that i have always place my family above anything, i repeat, anything.

It's HK summer sale!

Summer= Hot buy and hot weather.


We shopped hard, played hard and partied hard. But partying in HK is pretty boring, or am i getting a little too old to party?
i prefer to chill in a pub than to shake in a club.
i prefer cocktails / white wine than vodka.
But in conclusion, it still depends on the company which you're going with.

13Sep10 - an important date which i mark on my calendar.

Bond-signing day.

I get to meet my batch mates, and they're sweet and lovely people. I'm the youngest among the batch, and i hope to learn more from them because they're mostly very successful career-lady.
We have ex-cabin crews from Singapore top airlines and other top airlines. We have people who scarifices their current highly-paid job to pursue their dream.


As for me, i'm just a girl, who is going after my dream.
A dream which is shared among most of the female species. A topic which has the top discussions in Flowerpod, Singapore Expat, etc.

I'm glad that my family and friends are very supportive in my decision.
Some gave me their best wishes, some gave me their piece of advice, some brought me out for celebrations, some shared their excitement with me.

Please dont attack/give any negative comments because this really will piss me off.
Cabin crew are not Miss Singapore Universe, we do not need to have 32C- 24-35. We do not need to have a "wow" features and looks.

All we need is pleasant-looking, a genuine smile, a "service from the heart" attitude. Which i can feel from my girls.
If you girls/guys think that it is easy to get the job, go ahead give it a try, and we shall see.

Many asked me: "why not SQ?"
i replied " Why SQ? i dont like to work under politics environment." Not personal attack, but i think CX is as good as SQ, through the pay is slightly lesser. Anyway, my dream is to be a cabin crew, not to get into SQ.
